ABOUT USC ARCHITECTURE
USC SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
Students: 650
Faculty: 110
Established in 1919, the USC School of Architecture capitalizes on the synergy created by its location and its activity. As an academic cultural institution in South Los Angeles, its impact reaches Latin America and the Pacific Rim and engages local citizenry on issues that affect their own environment, community and well-being.
Throughout its activity on campus and off, USC Architecture promotes a greater understanding of space, the city and urbanization as part of an ethical and philanthropic vision. Our impact is shaped by the courage of our faculty to pose difficult questions, engage in robust debate, and integrate interdisciplinary thinking into their pedagogies. We're redefining the agency of architect to include citizen, influencer of public policy, and advocate for change.
USC ARCHITECTURAL GUILD
The mission and purpose of this all-volunteer support group, affiliated with the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California, is to provide industry expertise, networking support, and fundraising assistance to advance and enrich the student experience through professional development, career services, mentorship programming, materials and technology support, and global study fellowships.
The Architectural Guild, as one of the most highly respected design-build professional membership programs has had a 60-year history of support and partnership with the School of Architecture, donating more than $7,500,000 and $250,000 volunteer hours.
The Guild is directed by the Dean of the USC School of Architecture and assisted by the Assistant Dean of Advancement.

How is the tournament structured?
Scramble format - each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The players then play from that spot. The person whose shot was not taken picks up their ball and moves it to within one club length of the selected spot.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
81% of undergraduate students and 99% of graduate students receive some form of financial aid.
“I was working hard…supporting myself and my daughter as an architectural intern, and keeping my desire to become an architect. It would not be possible to overcome financial burdens and finish my degree now without scholarship aid.”
–
Liudmila Sergeeva, M.Arch ’21
INCOMING FRESHMAN STATS
More than 65% of incoming freshman are women. USC Architecture has one of the most diverse freshman classes in the nation with 32% Hispanic, 23% Asian, 15% Black, and 14% international students. 24% are the first in their family to attend a university.
“I was a recipient of the Guild scholarship. As a first-generation college student, this scholarship was especially helpful in helping me stay on track for graduation.”
– Sam Anderson, a fifth-year student in the B.Arch program
