Summer 2015
FINAL REVIEW DAY Mission: Literacy - Changing Lives… One Word At A Time
Book Review of “In The Beginning” In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth! Each student took home a potted flower to remind them of the amazing God who made and loves them!
Book Review of “Adam and Eve” Students made their own snake sock puppets, complete with a piece of fruit, to illustrate Adam and Eve’s tragic fall into sin, reminding us all of our need for a Savior.
Book Review of “Noah & the Flood” Using a lump of clay, students designed their own boats, filling them with animals two by two, which depicted Noah’s ark that provided salvation from the flood. Noah paid a visit to help tell the story!

Summer 2015
Book Review of “Tower of Babel” Each family received their own Jenga tower game. As they play together, kids will teach their families the importance of focusing on the Lord instead of living selfishly.
Book Review of “Jonah & the Big Fish” Remembering how Jonah disobeyed God and was swallowed by a big fish, each child played ping-pong toss, and brought home their very own not-so-big, pet fish.
Book Review of “Solomon” Learning about the wise King Solomon, children made their own gospel-colors bracelet. The dark bead reminds us of sin; the red bead reminds us of Jesus’ shed blood; the clean bead reminds us of being cleansed from sin when we ask Jesus for forgiveness; yellow reminds us of the golden streets of heaven; and green reminds us of ways to grow in Jesus, by reading God’s Word, praying, and sharing our faith.
