Letter From the Editor-in-Chief

Thank you for picking up the September edition of The USF Encounter “Tower Terror.” In this issue you will find stories so good that you’ll get goosebumps.

If you need last minute costume ideas, Saba’s got some DIYs for you. Looking for some horror stories to get you ready for Halloween? Sarah’s got your back with some scary book recommendations. The Encounter staff is excited for fall, and I hope this issue makes you just as excited.

This is the first semester that the USF Encounter has had a combination of both old and new staff. I’m grateful for the old staff doing an amazing job guiding, mentoring and working with our new writers and editors. It’s great seeing everyone come together to help one another in their different areas of expertise.

The staff is full of hardworking and dedicated individuals. We have lots to learn from oen another, and I can’t wait to see how much we grow as a team throughout the semester. After all, our collaborative effort is what makes our issues so special!
