MSFA PREREQUISITE COURSES

Copies of your transcripts from each accredited college or university attended must be uploaded to the online application. If admitted to the program, instructions for sending official, sealed transcripts will be provided.

Applicants applying to the MSFA program are required to complete the following prerequisite courses prior to program start: Accounting, Calculus, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Probability or Statistics.

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION Two letters of recommendation are required. Applicants to all programs should submit at least one letter from a professional contact, if possible. Ideally, one or both of your professional recommendations will come from a current or former direct supervisor or academic instructor. Enter the recommenders’ email addresses directly into the online application for electronic submission.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE A 500 to 1,000 word essay is required and must be uploaded in the online application. We encourage all applicants to include information on your short and longterm professional goals and how the degree will help you achieve those goals. Your background, passions, and personal interests are important to us. Please review program specific requirements on our website: usfca.edu/ management/graduate/apply.

APPLICATION FEE: $55

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY International applicants are required to demonstrate English proficiency by submitting a TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic score. Any applicant who has completed two or more years of a degree-seeking program at a higher education institution in the U.S., or any of the exempt countries listed in the International Applicants section of our website, is waived of this requirement. Additional information regarding international application requirements, including transcripts, degree conferral certificates, certification of finances, and passport are available on our website: usfca.edu/management/ graduate/apply.
