SAFE HANDS By the Rev’d Canon Robert Sihubwa (Province of Central Africa)

The Anglican Church in Zambia is comprised primarily of young people. In the Diocese of Lusaka, 64% of our church members are below the age of 25. This is a typical picture of church life in the Anglican Church in Zambia, though there are inevitably exceptions – namely rural churches with older populations. The involvement of young people in the Church is heartening to see. However, these young people need to be trained in discipleship and prepared to be leaders of the Church. Although they have much enthusiasm for the mission of the Church, our young people still have a lot to learn about how the Church works in practice. A young boy in Zambia
