Volunteers
from 2012 Yearbook
"I have always loved the sport and I just wanted to get involved and give back." - Scott Hanover, Section President, 14-year volunteer
Volun eers
Volunteers are the "VIPs" on our team. They serve the USTA because of their love of tennis and a desire to give back to the game that has given so much to them. The reason a volunteer gives of his or her valuable time is as individual as how they came to the game. Their commitment at every level of the game makes it possible for the USTA mission to be met - “To promote and develop the growth of tennis.”
There are many different volunteer opportunities available - from a one day event like a tournament or community event to annual commitments on a committee or board. Training and recognition are provided to support your efforts. Please consider how you can help grow tennis - the sport of a lifetime.
On this page you will meet many of our volunteers and learn why they are proud to say,
