Machine Translation vs Human Translation

Humans make mistakes, but machines are restricted. While none of the two is perfect, one has to be better than the other. As regards to the above statement, mistakes can be ratified, restrictions are hard to overcome. Besides machines perform only what's been fed in them by humans whereas humans are boundless, for them the sky is the limit. Considering this argument one might think humans win but how and why? The following presents a logical description of the same. How are they different? 

Human translation companies provide services which have countless features that machine translations lack. One may opt to choose the rather free services over the one that costs money but knows that nothing's free and that everything comes at a price. While free things lack credibility, the prices ones are authentic to its utmost ability. 

The machine translation gives sloppy and inaccurate results as opposed to human translation services. 

Machines give an automated result while humans provide creative and the most accurate translation services. 

Machines can give fast results for a word or two but for large data, their efficiency fails down to nil. 

Translation companies back their services with translation facilitators, reviewers, and proofreaders as opposed to machines that give a one time, though quick but a highly inaccurate result.

Machines translation can assist a specific field or two but real-time translation companies have a large workforce comprising of numerous translators belonging to multiple fields of legal, medical, financial, educational, technical and travel departments, not only just that, they are also well aware of the specific terminologies and jargons. You will be amazed at how a translation company takes your project to a whole new level of excellence and supremacy. You might save a few bucks but you won't get what your translation requires, proficiency, that is an accuracy and professional touch. Proofreaders who make sure that no discrepancy passes through even a slightest at that. Every domain has its own specific proofreader who is expert in his domain thus making sure that a picture perfect translated copy passes down to the client. Whereas for an MT the case is exactly opposite since there is no proofreading concept altogether. Always choose wisely because an accurate copy of the translated text can reap you innumerable benefits making life easier for you. Less than 1 percent of people are said to be satisfied with the machine translation. Less than 1 percent is satisfied just because they had a few words to be translated. Human translations, on the other hand, have always been of ultimate satisfaction for clients. Because of their accountability, professional attitude and above all for being human, for which there is no real-time alternative.
