SCHOOL MODULAR FARM|
vertical farm
modern world issues such as urbanisation, globalisation of food industry, global warming and poor level of food security led directly to the emersion of concepts of vertical farm and urban farm.
vertical farm - an indoor structure for growing food on vertically stacked layers using smart technologies.
the idea of changing the global food system is based on the moving the food production places closer to the consumers, directly to the cities, which would influence positively the carbon footprint, water usage, quality of products as well as accessibility of food and food security in general.

CHERKASY ZOO REVISION 1st prize, in development in collab. with m.klochenko, l.pasichnyk, a.yesayan, r.filatov http://kharkiv.school/ concept | architecture | workshop archicad | sketchup | photoshop | illustrator cherkasy, ukraine | 2018
cherkasy is a small city located in the central ukraine. during the workshop, organised by kharkiv school of architecture, we were working on the revision of the concept of cherkasy zoo, in particular the entrance zone, since the current situation doesn’t correspond the needs of animals and visitors. we offer the concept of `the play` in which visitors plunge into the world of animals, seeing and feeling the world like animals do. we create the specific situations, using design methods. the entrance becomes a portal between the two worlds - human and animal one - and looks and feels like a fox hole, reminding the hole in the fairytale about alice in wonderland.

the area, located right by the main railway station is marginal and hardly accessible, although historically important because it contains the building and the platforms of the oldest railway station in lower silezia. we propose to activate the main pedestrian axis of the area, turning the platforms to a `soho` street with spaces for small businesses and workshops and to preserve the unique post-industrial atmosphere of the green area on the rails, using it as an event and gathering space.

IDENTITY academic | concept | installation sketchup | photoshop lviv, ukraine | 2017
i have spent my childhood summers in a small countryside house. similar to many ukrainians, i have a strong REMEMBRANCE of my grandma and grandpa in a small village in western ukraine. they lived in a wooden hut with a wasp nest in an attic. it was always warm there and smelled with firewood and food. during warm summer nights my family was having supper in a summer kitchen, listening to buzzing mosquitoes and bush-crickets.
by using a form of the traditional ukrainian house of hutzulshchyna region, i express the idea, that this coutryside house was the place, where my identity was grown up and where i have got the basic feeling that i am at home, i am safe here. the “hut is dissolving and becoming partly a remembrance, partly an origin, an idea, an enthusiasm... step inside of a wooden hut, feel its narrowness and cozyness, sit down on a bench, watch a silent film.

i learn to define forms by line, to find and emphasize the very special feature of the body, architecture or space and to put it on a plane the clearest way possible.
