A Message from the Alumni Association

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Fellow Aggies,

Congratulations on finishing your education at Utah State University! As you progress in your careers, family life or perhaps additional education, I want you to remember that you are always an Aggie. Graduation is a milestone that marks the end of one great experience and the beginning of a new phase in your life and your relationship with the university — one as a member of the Aggie Alumni family.

Today, you are joining more than 150,000 fellow alumni — alumni who are connected by a common shared experience. Whether you’re in close proximity to USU or thousands of miles away, the connections that you’ve forged here can be some of your life’s most valuable.

As you proudly announce, “I’m an Aggie,” people will expect you to be competent, kind and industrious, because they have likely interacted with a USU graduate before. Take every opportunity to broadcast your affiliation with USU — it will open doors!

Alumni can make such a difference by supporting USU and, collectively, we are the strongest influencers as far as recruiting new students — so proudly speak up, share you experience and stay engaged. If you’re going to continue to live in Utah, you can start immediately by acquiring and proudly displaying an Aggie License Plate. I also strongly encourage you to participate in your local alumni chapter and join the Aggie Network (AggieNetwork.usu.edu) — they are both free and meant to be an ongoing resource. Both your alumni chapter and the Aggie Network can be tools for discovering new professional relationships and upgrading your career. They can also help you maintain friendships, participate in USU traditions and assist incoming freshman and recent graduates. By using an Aggie affinity credit card, you are supporting student scholarships and helping future generations of students. Find out more about these opportunities at usu.edu/alumni.

On behalf of the USU Alumni Association, congratulations Class of 2022. I wish you all the best on your graduation, and I hope to meet many of you at future Aggie Alumni events this year.

Go Aggies!
