UTA EPA Outreach Trainers are now able to submit UTA EPA Outreach card request through the Outreach Portal via our website, OutreachPortal.com.

This course certifies trainers to teach the EPA 8-Hour Environmental Hazard Awareness course and allows them to be recognized by UTA as an EPA Outreach Trainer. During the course, EPA topics will be reviewed and training techniques presented to promote environmental awareness among workers and equip them to better protect human health and environmental resources.

Note: Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop. Prerequisites: ETI 101-Introduction to Environmental Compliance with completion exam AND three years of environmental program experience. A college or master’s degree in environmental programs or a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) designation from the National Registry of Environmental Professions may be substituted for two years of experience.

LEED EXAM PREP AND REGISTRATION

ONLINE | 40 hours | $695

This self-paced online course will also prepare you for the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate Credential from USGBC (US Green Building Council). This is an internationally recognized certification that designates expertise in green building and design principles. The exam fee is included with the course.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ENVHEA | 8 hours | $395

This course is for safety, environmental or health professionals to learn about epidemiology, water/wastewater, environmental pollution, environmental sanitation, food safety, soils/septics, public health microbiology, and more.

This course will help gain valuable job skills, help gain CEUs to maintain current environmental health certification and also help prepare for any environmental health certification.
