Dr. and Mrs. Madsen are a husband and wife team working on a history of Utah-Montana trade prior to the construction of the,Utah Northern Railroad to the Montana mines. Mrs. Madsen is a school teacher, and Dr. Madsen is a professor of history and vice-president at the University of Utah.
