Needs a rest to recuperate its forage, or needs areas fenced so part can be grazed while others recover. . . . This mtn is dry and dries quickly because of the hot winds from the desert, also lower elevations. Fremont Utah. This valley has abundant alfalfa, seems to have plenty of water. Farmers no doubt have cattle on the mountain .. . 8c feed them during spg 8c fall or perhaps all winter. This seems to be a prosperous cattle community. 39 Grazing on Public Lands.
