LEAN SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT (ONLINE) Overview Lean Six Sigma is a business strategy recognized worldwide in manufacturing, distribution, engineering, logistics, software development, retail, health care, and government industries. 82% of all Fortune 100 companies publicly claim to utilize its principles, with an estimated global savings of $427 billion over the last 20 years. Organizations that have successfully transformed their culture and processes through Lean, Data Analytics, Theory of Constraints, and Scrum have created a competitive advantage by increasing speed of delivery, improving quality, and reducing costs. Facilitated by a Master Black Belt, this course will teach participants how to lead improvement projects within their organization through video instruction, simulations, case studies, webinars, and personal mentorship. A recent study showed certified Green Belts saving their organization over $60,000 annually. You will have 12 weeks to complete the 40-hour course. BUILDING A LEAN ENTERPRISE (ONLINE) Overview Coined by James Womack and Daniel Jones in the 1980s from their in-depth study of the Toyota production System, Lean seeks to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. However, more than implementing best practices, creating a Lean Enterprise requires a paradigm shift in the way we think about and manage operations. During this certificate course, participants will shift their focus from managing separate processes, technologies, departments, and assets to optimizing the flow of materials, products, or services and information through the entire value stream. Eliminating waste from a value stream rather than at isolated points increases the speed of delivery, improves quality, reduces costs, and enables an organization to be agile in its reaction to customer and market changes. Facilitated by a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, this course will teach participants how to lead a Lean Transformation for an individual value stream through video instruction, case studies, personal mentorship, and a live project.
