BREAKING THE POVERTY CYCLE
SMART CARS
SEED provides students the opportunity to empower individuals, families, and communities through teaching enterprise creation and sustainability in Africa, Asia, and South America.
Google isn’t the only one making self-driving cars. The SATS Group at USU has developed a set of autonomous vehicles to test current driving technology. Now they’re working on hacking the system to protect against security breaches.
SPIDER SILK
Creating synthetic spider silk proteins to produce clothing, bulletproof skins, airbags, and repair ligaments.
CLEAN FUEL
AEROSPACE USU sends more student experiments into space than any other university in the world. The USU rocket team took home the grand prize at NASA’s University Student Launch Initiative three years in a row.
Taking waste coal, a current environmental hazard, USU can make “Clean Coke” that is cleaner, cheaper, and profitable.
IMMIGRATION Businesses and families are affected by misunderstood policies. Aggies are finding ways to bridge the gaps of inequality and resolve societal problems.
