DSU WILL PREPARE YOU FOR THE CAREER OF YOUR DREAMS.

Flori Wentzell graduated from DSU in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree in Media Studies. During her time as a Trailblazer, she got involved around campus, filling her schedule with academic and extracurricular activities including the dance team and school newspaper.

After graduation, Flori landed a job on the Jimmy Kimmel Show as a field associate producer. Her experience at Dixie State taught her how to handle pressure, prioritize responsibilities, and be more outgoing – all skills she now uses daily under the Hollywood lights in Los Angeles, California.

“When I was news reporting at DSU, I had to go out on my own and pull people to talk to, and weirdly now I do the same thing,” she said. “When we are out doing a bit for the show and we need to find participants, I basically have to do the same thing, just in a different context.”

95% of DSU graduates are employed or entering graduate school or the military within six months of graduation.

Gain access to more than 43,000 jobs and internships nationally each year through Handshake, an online career network for college students and recent grads.
