Hanna & Michael
“Working in the small world of the mining industry, we were bound to meet. Once we did, the rest was history.
Every detail in our wedding had meaning and was put together with the help of our family and friends. After we got engaged on Flathead Lake, we were riding in the boat up the river and saw Diamond B and called them right away to schedule a booking. My mom made all of the flower arrangements, my dad roasted the pig, and my mother-in-law helped with the decorations and the connections with the local Montana vendors. It was really important to us to have our families and friends involved.
The primary flower we used was the sunflower which means strength and loyalty. Even though my mom and mother-inlaw wanted to add other flowers, I was adamant about keeping the sunflower the only flower other than greens to make sure it stood out. Mike’s friends from college played the music at the wedding and had everyone dancing and singing along. During the ceremony, we had a bagpiper who had also played at Michael’s late sister’s funeral. He did an incredible job and made it extremely special for the whole family. The entire day turned out perfectly, with so much love shared by everyone.”
