Abstract:
Engineering the molecular design of intelligent biomaterials by controlling structure, recognition and specificity is the first step in coordinating and duplicating complex biological and physiological processes. Recent developments in siRNA and protein delivery have helped advance the science of protein delivery to specific sites using a range of triggers. These advancements, coupled with molecular and microprinting techniques, can improve intelligent drug delivery, drug targeting, and tissue engineering, leading to better outcomes for patients. This work is only possible through the diversity and inclusivity among our members, stressing the need for stronger and converging interactions of diverse researchers and the identification of Health Disparities that drive our recent work.
