Rhapsody (2011) - André waignein

Rhapsody for alto saxophone and orchestra or piano was written as a work for the International Adolphe Sax Competition. It is described as a spontaneous and natural musical journey, with the goal of showcasing the technical and expressive nature of the saxophone.

this earthly round (redux) (2014) - miriama young

This Earthly Round for alto saxophone and piano was written as a musical response to climate change. It is described as a musical masterpiece that defies climate change deniers, and urges action to protect our planet, intended to remind us of our impact on the Earth.

fantasia (1948) - heitor villa-lobos

Fantasia for soprano or tenor saxophone was written as a way to feature elements of Brazil through rhythmic and melodic figures Originally written in the key of F, it was transposed down to the key of Eb to make it more suitable to play on soprano saxophone.

fujiko (2005) - andy scott

Fujiko for soprano or tenor saxophone was written to showcase the range of the low to high register of the instrument, with the feelings of melancholy and reflectiveness. Originally written for clarinet choir featuring Eb clarinet, this piece has been arranged for many solo instruments and piano.
