“This ‘new blood’ theme combined with the visual of building blocks led us to create FRESH OFF THE BLOCK. The overall ethos commends unity but also individual growth.” Megan Alderson and Anna Quarrie
Be inspired by our students at Fresh off the Block 2019 This year’s Open Day is run in parallel with our annual Creative Industries Degree Show. Fresh off the Block will showcase work from over 500 talented graduates from undergraduate and postgraduate art, design, film and journalism courses. This event is a real highlight of the year and is an opportunity to see the exceptional work across our City Campus locations at Arnolfini, Bower Ashton and Spike Island.
It represents the culmination of many months of study, creation, networking and professional development, as well as being an important launch pad into the world of the creative industries. This year’s theme, Fresh off the Block, was developed by students Megan Alderson and Anna Quarrie, who drew inspiration from the physical ideas of blocks representing students as shaping and building the future. We hope you enjoy the Open Day and the Degree Show.
