Welcome West 2018 New Student Orientation
Welcome West
On behalf of New Student Programs, I am pleased to welcome you to the University of West Georgia (UWG) family. We have been eagerly awaiting your arrival and could not be happier about your amazing decision to become a West Georgia Wolf. As you prepare to begin life at UWG, you will share many similar experiences with other students starting with Orientation. Events such as this and Pack Premiere are designed to give you an expansive introduction to the University of West Georgia and to promote a common experience for all new students. As a new student, you are bound to have questions. Orientation is a program nearly a year in the making designed to help you on your way to becoming a successful student. Rest assured that our team is committed to fostering a limitless experience and to ensuring that your beginning at UWG is well-informed and well-grounded. We strive to support your individual intellectual development and personal growth and to ensure that your experience as a Wolf is engaged, reflective, and revolutionary. By the time you leave Orientation, you will have had the opportunity to learn how to navigate campus and have a network of resources to help you on your way to making your mark. Everyone on campus is excited to help you learn all you need to know about UWG. We encourage you to stay in touch with us should any questions arise beyond Orientation.
