Halls Application Process

April Once you have been offered a Course at Cardiff Metropolitan University, you will need to complete an online application form from April onwards on the Accommodation website, even if you are waiting for exam results ie. conditional applicant.

Student Notifies UCAS / Cardiff Met making Cardiff Met Firm or Insurance Choice.

Phase one July Non Local Unconditional applicants who completed their online Halls Form before the end of May.

Phase two Mid August Non Local Conditional Applicants who change to Unconditional after exam results and who completed their online Halls Form before the end of May.

All offers will be made via email. Full instructions on how to accept an offer will be included in the email offer.

Student Accepts Halls offer within 7 days of receiving the offer.

The received date is very important, as halls offers are made in ‘date order’ and ‘distance from Cardiff’. Student Decides not to accept offer of a course at Cardiff Met.

No further contact with Cardiff Met.

Phase three September onwards Late, Clearing & Local Students - Allocations commence from the beginning of September, however depending on demand, local students may be held on a waiting list until term starts.

Please do not be anxious, as you will be allocated a room as soon as we have a cancellation.

Student Accepts Halls offer immediately.
