Study in the Gupta Faculty of Kinesiology and Applied Health at The University of Winnipeg to exercise both your body and your mind. Explore the what, why, and how of human physical activity, exercise, sport and health.
The presentation provides an overview of UWinnipeg’s varied science programs and the ways in which they each provide students with opportunities to truly Discover, Achieve, and Belong.
In the 21st century, English Studies has expanded in dynamic and exciting directions. At UWinnipeg, English classes explore poetry, television, comic books, Indigenous storytelling, and pop music as well as fascinating new perspectives on traditional literary works, such as Shakespeare’s plays, Jane Austen’s novels, and Alice Munro’s short stories.
Students will be given a brief overview of the profession of athletic therapy and an introduction into some of the hands-on skills that are part of the job, both in the field with a team and in a clinical setting.

The University of Winnipeg Library is the heart of the downtown campus, providing vibrant spaces and resources for students, faculty, and community members to pursue their academic goals. Nonviolent discipline is important for successfully overcoming power imbalance and creating positive change. Using case studies from the Nazis and Serbia, and relating them to present day, you will learn strategies for effective resistance against unjust power structures.
This presentation will highlight land-based experiential learning courses that have been offered by the Indigenous Studies department.
