Many diseases can present as giddiness. In diabetes, both low blood sugar and very high blood sugar can present as giddiness. Blood sugar control will resolve giddiness, if altered blood sugar might be the cause. In old age group some disease like high or low blood pressure, anaemia, cervical spondylosis, ear infection, heart abnormalities and brain blood circulatory problems has to be looked for causes of giddiness. We have to find out the exact cause and treatment has to be taken appropriately to resolve giddiness. I am having pregnancy diabetes and taking insulin daily. Will it affect my baby and how long I should continue insulin? Insulin is a well accepted and well proven therapy for diabetes in pregnancy. Since insulin will not cross the placenta and will not reach the baby, insulin is always advisable in pregnancy diabetes. More than 90% of pregnancy diabetes patients will become normal after delivery and will not require insulin. But these group of patients are at a risk of getting diabetes in future, may be after 5 – 10 years. Regular diet plan and regular physical activity will help this group to prevent diabetes in future. Sneha in another controversy

The audio launch of Kamal Hassan starrer Unnaipol Oruvan was a crisp function at Sathyam Cinemas. The film music is by Kamal's daughter Sruthi. The actress recently visited the Thiruvannamalai Te m p l e a n d a l s o participated in the Girivalam. Apparently, the actress walked the 14 km stretch of girivalam, w e a r i n g f o o t w e a r. However, devotees and religious organizations allege that the entire stretch has to be walked on barefoot and by wearing footwear she has hurt the sentiments of devotees. However, the actress has clarified that due to a leg ailment, she has used a footwear made of cloth while walking the girivalam.
