Kalamandir students Cancer survivors’ day excel in sports
I am 36-year-old male. I do not have diabetes before. For the past two weeks I have some irritation, redness and pain in my private parts. I checked random blood sugar as suggested by a friend, and it was 210 mgs%. Am I a diabetic? Yes. You have diabetes, but nothing to worry about. Diabetes will not affect your personal and professional life if you keep blood sugar under control. You have to accept that you are having diabetes, and then follow diet, exercise and medications. The problem you have in your private part is known as balanoposthitis. Most of the male are detected as diabetes by balanoposthitis only. Balanoposthitis is a type of fungal infection of glands penis, very common in uncontrolled diabetes. If the blood sugar is not controlled well, balanoposthitis will reoccur again. Keep your blood sugar under control by diet plan, daily physical activity and anti-diabetes medications as per your doctor advice. Take anti-fungal medications as per your doctor advice. Once the blood sugar is under control, balanoposthitis will resolve within two days.
