Probus Club celebrates Women’s Day

I am a 56-year-old woman, having diabetes for the past 20 years. My problem is that I have been suffering from frequent urinary tract infections. I am getting this infection very often. How can I avoid it? Women are prone to get urinary tract infection more than men due to the short urethral structure. Being a diabetic the chances of urinary tract infection increases further more. By maintaining good personal hygiene, washing private parts with hygienic water and drinking more water help to reduce the chances of urinary tract infection. Diabetes control further helps to reduce the chances of urinary tract infection (UTI). Frequent UTI in any patient has to be looked at carefully, particularly in a diabetes patient. Frequent UTI can result in pyleonephritis, a condition of severe kidney infection. We have to find out the cause of frequent UTI. Uncontrolled diabetes, any anatomical problem in the urinary tract, urinary stone and pregnancy are common causes of frequent UTI. Unless we find out the specific cause, it is very difficult to control frequent UTI. Besides, urinary tract infection increases the blood sugar level in a diabetes patient and the needs prolonged treatment than non-diabetic persons.

Trisha goes glam the minds of thousands of her fans. However, the dream girl has gone for a hot photo shoot for South Scope, a south Indian film magazine.Trisha, who has never done any exposing acts or for that matter even not even revealed her long and stunning legs, this time, has taken a u-turn to get a completely hot make-over. And she says that she agreed for the photo shoot because she wanted to shed the cute image and showcase her sexy and glamorous side.It has to be remembered that Trisha is making her Bollywood entry with Priyadarshan;s Kaata Meeta. Ask her whether she Sweet, cute, innocent, girl sees the glamorous photo next door, this was the shoot as a gateway to get perception about Trisha in into the bigger league of

With a passion to excel Bollywood films; she says that Bollywood aspect was not in her mind while doing the shoot. However, she said that she’s sure that photos will grab the eye balls of Bollywood big w i g s . W h i l e a c e photographer Venkat Ram has done the camera work, designer Chaitanya Rao and a couple of Mumbai designers have accentuated the glam look of Trish with their stunning costumes. So you will ask the question, will she be doing similar photo shoots often. But she makes it clear that the photos have created sensation since it’s her first photo shoot for a magazine, she doesn’t intend to repeat the same in the near future.

A smoky affair

Actor Baloo Bhat is a man who wears many hats. By profession he is a hotelier but his passion lies in films. Yes, he is a familiar face and household name for the television audience and has done several serials. He has acted in Sumangali, directed by Jayachitra; Nimmathi, Nimmathi Ungal Choice, directed by S.P. Muthuraman and Aha Madhavi . His stint with the films include Rajasthan directed by R K Selvamani a n d Ta m i z h a g a m b y

Suresh, which was released recently. Baloo Bhat says that he is ready to do any role and hopes that his karate and dancing skills will help him live up to director’s expectations. Baloo who considers Prakash Raj as his role model says that he is in awe of the actor. “He is a versatile actor, capable of justifying any role with the most desirable effects. I admired actor Raghuvaran too a lot.”And what he still remember about the film

Thamizhagam is the hot chasing scene. He says, “It was shot in my kennel. My dogs (15 in number and from different breeds and show quality) were very upset to watch the scene and they kept on barking. Actually it added a realistic touch to the scene.”And Baloo is keeping his fingers crossed about his yet to be released film, Odum Meghangal, where he has done a white-collar criminal. -VP Times

For the sake of publicity

Nane Varuven is a film directed by Babu Ganesh and he is the hero of the film too. The film has four heroines from different parts of the world such as Victoria,Stphee,Shilpa and Joshna. However, the highlight of the film is not the

presence of glam heroines alone, the film will emit smoke and the hall will be filled with the fragrance of jasmine when the film is being screened. According to the director, this is the first time in the world; a film screening will have original

smoke and fragrance in the theatres. Apparently the effort is to make the film a disable friendly one so that even hearing/ speech impaired or visually challenged children can feel the ambience through this effort.

Sada makes a comeback in Tamil The publicity and promotion aspects of Mun Dhinam Paartheney by Seventh Channel Communication is attracting quite a few glances. The film will be releasing on March 18. While a new Innova car has

been painted with the designs of the film, several promotional buses and vehicles have been pasted with flex stickers of the film. The stars of the film are expected to tour Tamil Nadu to create hype about the

film. The songs are by Sai Thaman and has created quite a stir already. The film, which is a romantic entertainer has new faces Sanjay, Ekta, Lizna and Pooja in important roles.

Vikram amazes music director After the roaring success of Aptha Rakshaka at the box office, director P. Vasu is all set to start his next project Puli Vesham with R.K. in the lead role. The film is expected to narrate the journey of an innocent

youth from a village to city. It is reported that the director has approached actress Sada to play one of the leading roles in the film. A search is on for the other heroine, sources s a i d . A p p a r e n t l y, t h e

director was keen on working with the actress in Chandramukhi and Aptha Rakshaka but it didn’t happen due to some inevitable reasons. Sada has recently made her Bollywood debut with Click.

Actor Vikram who proved his vocal prowess in Kandhasami has done it again. The latest we hear is that he has crooned for a peppy village number for the film Madrasapattinam which has music by GV Prakash.Apparently Vikram has sung in five different

voices to the amusement of the director and music director. There are five songs in the film and it seems the music will repeat the feat of Aayirathil Oruvan, for which GV Prakash composed the music. -VP Times
