The glam diva has issued a statement saying that she doesn’t want to attend the function at Colombo after hearing all the brutal stories of human rights violation against the Tamils in Sri Lanka. The statement also said that though a Gujarathi by birth, it was Tamil people who made her what she is today and she will not hurt the sentiments of the Tamil people.

Both of them have filed a divorce petition on mutual consent citing domestic harmony.The marriage of actress Vindhiya, who rose to fame with the film Sangamam, is also on the rocks. Vindhiya who is married to Gopi, brother of actress Bhanupriya has approached the family court asking for reinstating the congeal rights. Apparently Gopi has filed a petition seeking divorce.
