General Description Our project is about the creation of the Museum of the City of Xanthi. The land limits of construction is at the central square of the city. Dominant element is the elimination of the limit that creates a strong height difference. That observation has led to push the walker to climb the building rather than to descend from the public space. The inclusion of a building in a park, and more specifically on the border with the residential area is very sensitive point. For this reason we left the vegetation regions embrace the building. Basic purpose it was the creation of a Museum that includes the public space. The location of the building lead to create a public square where all the functions structured around. All functions are connected to each other depending on their use.
