ARA AND THEIR IMPRESSIVE WORK SINCE 2018

ARA has been tirelessly working in Loulé since 2018, rescuing and rehoming over 1000 animals. Without their intervention, the region would be overwhelmed with animals due to the lack of adequate shelters and the ban on euthanasia for healthy animals as a means of population control. Their work has had a positive impact on the issue of stray animals, including a pioneering project called "Vila dos

Gatos" for street cats. Additionally, ARA maintains partnerships with other groups, organises fundraising events, engages in international volunteer programmes, and has an animal legacy plan to care for pets whose owners have passed away or are incapacitated.
