This Portfolio presents selected works designed during my Bachelor and Master degrees at the Architecture school of Paris La Villette and a placement on the Fondation Louis Vuitton site at the SCMC Department (Scheduling, Construction Management and Coordination) as part of my engineer’s degree at the Ecole SpÊciale des Travaux Publics.

These elements give me a significative input to my curriculum which I tried to show through this Portfolio.

Discovering the professional world T

he Fondation Louis Vuitton, located in Paris, is a new contemporary art museum. This three-month placement took place on the site in the SCMC Department (Scheduling, Construction Management and Coordination). It gave me the possibility to face its management and its difficulties for the first time.

t was necessary to communicate with the different actors on site and take quick initiatives in order to solve problems. I scheduled works with the various works supervisors and attended different meetings for having a global vision of the site.

Urban fabric & Housing T

A

his project, located in the Parisian suburb, was split into two parts: the first one was to think about a masterplan and the second one, to design one building of housing. Different questions were developped : which are the impacts of the new buildings on the existing urban fabric ? How are linked the different built buildings ? Which kind of urban typologies can we use ?

fter analysing the urban fabric, the project can be summed up by livening up, connecting & densifying the city of Villepinte : livening up by settling a park, connecting the green spaces of the city and densifying the area with the construction of around two hundred flats. Designing a pedestrian and a bicycle path was one of the main ideas.

he studied part is located between a public path and a private courtyard. The project is to design a building of around 20 flats (one-room to five-bedroom flat). We access to two flats by the central core which is naturally lit, and two others at the extremity by a passageway. The crossing hall connects the public path to the private courtyard and creates a translucent ground floor.

egarding to the housing, the study is focused on the duplex with a four-meter high (13.1 ft) living-room. A split-level separates the flat into two parts : at the center, there are a band of facilities with the kitchen the bathroom, on the one side, we find the living-room, on the other, the bedrooms. In the bedrooms, the “boxes create a rhythm on the facade. Inside, they can be a desk or a space for sitting.

The Metropolitan : Architecture as infrastructure T

H

ence, the Omnigare embodies an architectural landmark in the urban landscape of Champigny. It is a space of creation and exchanges with the Fabrik, place of material collections and recycling. It is also a place of relaxation and physical fitness with the sport centre on the roof. Sport and imagination are brought together increasing the influence of Champigny on the nearby cities.

his building is designed in the Parisian surburb, as part of the “Grand Paris project: enlarging Paris and creating a new dynamic with new train lines. The Omnigare is not anymore the simple train station, transit place of the passengers. It is a living place where is gathered different activities creating dynamic exchanges between the various users.

Requalification of a Roman neighborhood & Architecture T

T

he urban project is designed in the district of San Basilio located in the North East suburb of Roma. Unstructured and heterogeneous, the intervention targets to liven up the area and link different existing elements. The first part of the work is to think about the Masterplan. The drawing of the streets and roads is based on the model of the mesh in order to connect the neighborhood. Then, a bus line passing through the park is added to the planned metro station. A pedestrian and cycling green line crosses through the district. We developed also an academic and sport centre.

he second part is focused on a zone of the Masterplan. The studied sector incorporates the South of Torracia and a piece of the park. This one is developed with the line bus passing through. The existing agricultural institute is enlarged as a centre for students with classrooms, a library and an auditorium. Housing are built at the north of the park. The buildings fit on the sloping topography: a system of platforms is used. A pedestrian street divides the plot into two parts. The porosity between the buildings gives different views. Inside the plot, relaxation and meeting zones are created.

Pixeleted lego : A mix-used building This project was designed in the Trastevere area in Rome. The site is located at an important angle between two streets separated by a height of six meters (19.7 ft) and near the train station.

First of all, the idea was to connect them by a public

space where people can access to housing and different activities as sports and conference hall, library... Both buildings are the outcome of a complex combination like a Tetris: each one mixes different kind of programs as varied housing typologies, offices, co-working spaces or library.

Finally, well-located, these buildings must embody

a new landmark of Trastevere. This project is a way to create a new dynamism in this typical Roman residential neighborhood through a mix of varied activites.
