Getting your business to become profitable does not happen overnight, so if possible, you should stay at your current job. You can use the income from your job to help make it through the start-up period until your new venture becomes profitable. You will need to have a schedule of your times. Put your working hours on the list so that you will not get burned out. Sometimes it is necessary to work long hours, but don’t overdo it. Spending quality time with those you care about helps to alleviate stress. Investors will want to know about your business’s functions and inner workings to see if it is worthy of their money.
