hotel lobby The lobby is consisted of the check-in area and the lounge. Marble, brass, and natrual stones are being selected as the main material, delivering a luxury quality for the experience.

hotel lobby The lobby also includes a lava rock paved walkway to the outdoor pool with water feature underneath. The marble columns showcase some classic celine bag designs.

event space The event space is a mutil-functional area that can be converted to suit each sepcific purpose. The room features LED screens, sculptrual lighting fixtures, and platforms for showcasing art works.
bar celine On the second floor there locates bar celine. The space continues the wavy lines from the lobby area, featuring comfortable seating and drinking areas.

serect project In the serect project room, kids and parents are free to choose from the pool, and push the choosen two balls into the designed space in the wall.
serect project While kids and their parents are playing in the seretc project room, the pedestrian from the outside are able to see instantly what the family is creating. Aslo, when certain colors of the ball match up, the LED light connecting them will light up.

kiwi shute Connecting the body, kiwi shute lets kids and parents choose different way of getting to the second level. The children can have plenty of fun walking on the bubble balls inside the coloful and safe nests, while the parents walk slowly up on the sloped walkway.
kiwi blink This is where kids and parents can play with the sunlight and create their own unique shadow patterns.

rainbow bridge The rainbow bridge provides an adventrous yet safe exploration of the space. Kids can discover more along while they walk through the bridge.

switch & scrabble By turning the switches on and off, kids and parents get to spell out the word of their choice. or create some fun shapes and expressions such as heart and smily face.

light capsule After playing and exporing the space. it’s time to relax and enjoy some quiet reading time. The light capsule provides a semi-private conner for kids and parents to cuddle and experience some quality reading time.
kiwi walk This colorfully lit walkway provide a fun walking experience. Along with each step you take, the corresponding light will light up in a beautiful color.

bubble pavilion This incredibly fun space is comprise entirely of colored inflatables. It;s super fun and also safe to jump and run around the pavilion while enjoying the sunlight.

logo design The logo expresses Kiwico’s goal to connect kids and their parents, and build a stronger bond among families.
signage & spatial graphics Evolved from the brand logo, the sigange for the bathroom contiues the main design of dots and the connecting line, and uses these elements to guide people and lead the way. The logo languge also became a seating area, and as well as the way-finding on the ground.

Wellness Retail ___ Arts District Los Angeles, CA
This project engages in branded wellness retail design. Hilma is a natural remedy company that focuses on creating a new standard for the medicine cabinetry. Hilma products are 100 percent natural ingredient based, and all backed by science. The space incorporates the idea of “unattended retail,” and is designed to advertise the brand to potential clients.

brand essence “We believe that science and nature are at their best when they work together.” Hilma only uses natural ingredients that have been clinically studied. They formulate with a scientific advisory board of practicing clinicians and experts. Their team of experienced scientific advisors includes MDs, PhDs, and herbalists. They also are investing in their own clinical studies, running them on each of their unique formulas.

site research Los Angeles Arts Distirct The Arts District is one of the most popular and striving neighborhoods in the Downtown L.A. area. In the late 1800s, it already became an industrial center for railroads and manufacturing. In the 1990s, it was officially renamed as the “Arts District” by the pioneering community activist Joel Bloom and his supporters. Today, it is a burgeoning urban oasis that is home to many creatives, including those in green technology, photography, fine art, design, architecture, and film and entertainment.
facade design The facade is inspired by the curvy shape of natrually grown plants, which is the main source of Hilma’s ingredients.

facade design The entrance is hidden at the conner of the facade, providing an experiecne of discovery.

reception area Located at the end of the space, the reception area features a reception desk that is comprised of half capsules in a bundle. Using the repeating design language, the design emphasis on the essence of the brand.
displaying area The displaying area includes a group of enlarged capsules built in clear glass and brass material. Inside each capsule, there are different natrual plants growing vividly. These are what eventurally go into Hilma products.

seating area The seating area is comprise of a group of half capsules bonding together. Through the glass box full of beautiful natural plants, the customers are able to see the street view and enjoy beautiful sunset.
