As an aspiring educator with a master's degree in TESOL you’ll help bridge the language gap and unlock new worlds of opportunity for those you teach. And at Valpo, our master's degree in TESOL program combines both practice and theory as you develop effective teaching practices, proficiency assessment methods, and gain valuable experience through hands-on classroom teaching. Students seeking Indiana state English learner (EL) licensure must complete designated versions of TESOL courses for P-12 educators in each of the categories listed above. Enrollment in the P-12 focused versions of the TESOL courses is restricted to education students and students with a P-12 teaching license. ELECTIVES 15 CR.
