Last November, our very own Board of Directors banded together with some of Bard’s visionary donors and promised $300,000 if we were able to raise another $300,000 from the Bard Community – and we did it! Over 2,000 donors generously responded to help us surpass that original goal and we are indescribably grateful.

The Back on the Beach campaign has been vital to keeping the magic of Bard alive these past 18 months and the money raised will continue to lessen the negative impact on our performances, education programs, the livelihoods of artists, arts workers, and support staff, and many other critical operational needs. It deeply saddened us this spring when we realized we couldn’t present an in-person Season this year, as COVID safety regulations left us without sufficient time to build the site and mount our productions. But we know we’ll be back on the beach next summer, and are already actively planning for our 2022 Season when we will be gathered together under the tents – because of you.
