Bringing History Back to Life

EATERY AT THE GRANT HOUSE

Your Journey is their Passion ELFIN SERVICES

Aging is an inevitable part of life, and Elfin Services goes out of their way to make it a smooth transition for their clients, providing a personalized experience that best fits the individual needs of each client. Created to advocate for the elderly and provide compassionate care services to the rapidly growing population within the Vancouver community, Elfin Services employs several care managers, over 40 caregivers, and the highest percentage of Certified Nursing Assistants of any home-care agency in the area. Their mission is to adapt their ways of care for the aging population, adding a personal and genuine touch to each of the individuals they support. Services include 24/7 availability of Care Managers and Caregivers, transportation assistance, shopping and running errands for their clients, coordination of medical services and appointments, as well as providing and encouraging social activities.

The Grant House is the oldest home on “Officers Row” within the Vancouver National Historic Site, built in 1849. Now the beautiful hand-hewn log and wood lap structure is host to the Eatery at the Grant House, which was purchased by Scott and Sarah Flury in 2017. Known for their farm-to-table culinary approach, Eatery at the Grant House creates menus that continuously adapt to the seasons and PNW soil, ensuring only the freshest local ingredients are used. The Flury’s have coined the terms describing this idea as being “hyper-local” and “hyper-seasonal”. They receive shipments of fresh seafood three times per week and deliveries of local produce daily. Eatery at the Grant House also has an herb garden, which contributes to the essence and flavoring of each unique dish. 360.906.1101 | EateryAtTheGrantHouse.com
