VANDERBILT IN VENICE OVERVIEW Vanderbilt in Venice brings together a maximum of 45 students with three professors to study selected topics in international law in the rich cultural center of Venice, Italy. Courses are taught in English, and the faculty includes members of the Vanderbilt Law faculty as well as faculty from the University of Venice Ca' Foscari. CURRICULUM

Students may enroll in three courses and receive up to six credits in International Law and Comparative Law. Vanderbilt Law School students will receive direct credit for the courses taken through the program. Tuition includes a series of dinners, field trips, and cultural immersion in accordance with ABA guidelines. Classes are held in the Palazzo Franchetti on the Grand Canal (pictured above). Summer 2024 Courses Comparative Counterterrorism | International Arbitration | Transnational Litigation INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Vanderbilt in Venice provides you with the opportunity to split your 1L summer. In most cases, attending Venice allows you between six to eight weeks of work prior to the start of fall 2L on campus interviews.
