WELCOME ! 6
WELCOME ! SO this is a blog devoted specifically to Matthew 28.18-20 (also known as "The Great Commission") which says:
18 "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 7
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I 8
have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. ... this to me is a vital imperative given by Jesus, 9
which we, as Christians, must strive to obey .....so I will be posting more about HOW to be obedient to this passage in future updates.. I, personally, 10
believe this verse calls us to literally "go" and do exactly what the verse says to do. However, you will find those who disagree, so if you also accept this verse at face 11
value, be prepared to encounter sceptics & even scoffers. Personally, I avoid "engagement" with such persons because they will try to 12
initiate a "theological argument" or debate, which you will not win. This verse, as with the entire Bible, is meant to be accepted "by faith" not 13
proof or clever exegesis.
