@ the GETTY MUSEUM, LOS ANGELES, CA Friday, December 6, 2013 WELCOME !

This is a blog devoted to the permanent artwork on display at the world famous Getty Museum alongside the 405 freeway in Bel-Air, Los Angeles, CA. ALL pics by me. Not all of the artwork is shown here, and primarily I focused on the Christian religious pieces, many of them being "madonna & child" while less of the crucifixion art (which I find less edifying and inspirational when overly-emphasized, 168

even as a reminder of the great sacrifice God made for us thru His Son). I also included some of the non-religious Dutch art, always a favorite of mine (for example, the "piebald horse" show below)
