Dave Grohl’s signed Gibson classic white 70s Explorer electric guitar. An original icon of 1970s, the Explorer features a pair of tribute retro humbuckers hand-wired with orange drop capacitors. With its classic white finish, bound rosewood fingerboard, black speed knobs, and chrome hardware, it looks as legendary as the generation of music it helped create.
Grohl himself uses a Gibson Explorer and a Gibson ES-335 for most of his music, with the versatile Explorer being an excellent fit for his playing style. The guitar is signed by Grohl in black felt pen, “Music Rising!! (always) Dave Grohl xxx.”
The guitar is as-new, with minor handling and surface wear from Grohl signing and preparing the guitar for the collection. It comes with a Gibson hard shell case that has moderate surface wear.
