I love fall. I’ve always loved fall, but I’ve never been able to say exactly what it is that makes it such a magical season to me. There are so many things happening – the leaves are changing, the weather is cooling, and the anticipation of celebrations with friends and family is building. It’s not always the big fall events that draw me in (although I do love Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas in Tennessee with family and friends). For me, it’s the little moments that are often the

What made you decide to try Thirty-One Gifts?

I saw the Catalogue online and immediately fell in love with the products, the fabric choices and the personalization. I’m constantly striving to be more organized and always looking for ways to make my home and life clutter-free. Now I can do that and have the designer look as well! How has being with Thirty-One Gifts impacted your family? I’ve recently taken a huge leap of faith and quit my full-time day job to follow my dreams and finish my university degree. Thirty-One Gifts gave me the confidence, courage and financial means to be able to follow this dream, and I hope to graduate in August 2015. I know that with the flexibility of running my own business I can work as much or as little as I want, balancing my family needs and school needs. My family is so grateful to Thirty-One Gifts for this great opportunity. I get to be the woman, wife, mother and businesswoman I want to be. I have the best of both worlds! What are some tips you have for other new Consultants? Figure out what you want from your business and go for it! No dream is too outrageous or far away. Having a goal is key, then take little steps each day to move closer to that goal. There were some times that I felt discouraged and needed to reassess my next steps. When that happens, don’t give up. The opportunity we have with Thirty-One Gifts is endless.

What are some tips you can share about how to succeed with Thirty-One Gifts?

I try very hard to run my business within the parameters of the “Golden Rule.” I think about how I like to be treated as a Customer, and then I aim to meet those expectations. Stay true to yourself and be authentic to those around you. Be a friend, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother who also sells beautiful products – don’t just be a salesperson. What has surprised you most about being a Consultant? I did not expect to feel such a sense of pride and accomplishment. I did not expect to want to pursue this past making a few extra dollars in commission and to go on and grow a team of amazing women. I was surprised at how much passion a little bit of fun and success could drum up inside of me, and how it could change me for the better.
