The school year has begun and it is time to get the 2013 2014 Key Clubs up and running! Schools around the world and division are working hard to get as many people as they can involved in Key Club. We, being the Arleta High School Key Club have just had our first meeting August 27, 2013 and had an amazing turn out. We advertised throughout the school with some flyers we made, announced it in the announcements, and had some of our friends spread the word around. If any of you fellow Key Clubbers participate in any extracurricular activities it would be a good idea to get people in the activities involved as well. We hope look forward to having a great year. In the meeting we discussed an event that is coming up. That event is the Children’s Hunger Fund. If any of you fellow Key Clubbers would like to help out you are welcome to do so. The last time we did this event our lieutenant governor, Claudia Diaz attended. The event will be held September 21, 2013 in this location 13931 Balboa Boulevard Sylmar, CA. 91342. Officers, if you are still looking for an event to do in the month of September this could be a great event for your club to consider. You will be making food packages that will help save children all over the world. We will be posting a link on the Division 16 Facebook page so that you can download the liability release form. There are also some safety requirements that the organization wants you to follow and we will be posting those as well.
