Candid Design, Portland, OR – Architectural Designer January 2021 - Present

Remote position. I communicated with clients through Zoom about house renovations, used these notes to create multiple layout options for clients to choose from or change, used survey notes to program as-built houses, designed some newly constructed houses, and worked on permit and bid sets.

Omar Moujaes Architect, Dubai, UAE – Architectural Intern May 2018 - July 2018

I experienced real-world situations and tasks whether it was at the office or on the construction sites they designed for. I researched green buildings and sustainable design techniques useful for this hot region. In addition, I studied the building elements used in Dubai and compared them to the materials used in the USA. I learned to properly project elevation and section drawings from architectural plans while understanding the design thinking process using conceptual ideas.
