THEmatic FRIDGE course attempts hybrid design approaches,using new technologies embedded in physical urban space. Through this course, while making the initial assumption that architecture has always been a mediator in the relationship between subject and environment, and apparently other subjects, we explore the intermediary role of architecture in the contemporary environment of the digital era.
Project’s concept concerns the design of a theme park. Thematization requires detachment from continuity of both space and time and aims to create strong, comprehensive experiences with tools like concentration, exaggeration and animation. Embedment of new technologies, environmental responsiveness interactivity, interfaces, platforms are some of the tools serving experience in a theme park.
