Jian Xin Wang is a graphic designer based in Taipei, Taiwan. He studied graphic design at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. He mainly focuses on branding, visual identity, editorial, packaging and icon design.
EDUCATION
He worked as a graphic designer in Atom — a leading 3D printer brand in Taiwan, as well as Cinis Design Studio — an experienced studio focusing on branding design. He designed plenty of crowd-funding visual campaigns, branding, packaging and other kinds of related projects . He also completed some individual graphic design projects by himself. Jian Xin Wang now works as a freelance designer.

Atom is a leading 3D printer brand in Asia, which designs and manufactures 3D printers. They launched their first store, Atom Shop, in Taipei. Atom 3D Printer can print super fine models. It is made of high quality parts and has an aesthetic construction. After Atom successfully reached plenty of crowd-funding goals throughout Asia, they started to become an international brand with many users around the world. Super Double 快卡 背 包
Super Double, a stylish team of industrial designers and fashion editors, launched their first functional backpack in 2018. The team focuses on making their products perfect for everyday use. They did plenty of experiments and tests about materials, compartments, capacity and comfort. The Super Double backpack satisfies many kinds of people, from parents, office workers to athletes. The backpack reached 15 million Taiwanese dollars during a crowd-funding campaign. Each feature of the backpack is designed specifically for its purpose. The most special part is the snap-case at the bottom. It provides an extra capacity for packing simple stuffs, such as packaged foods, portable chargers, toiletries… etc. Customers can remove the snapcase and snap it back easily by using a set of magnetic buckles. 由 產 品 設 計 師 與 前 時 尚 編 輯 組 成 團 隊 共 同 打 造 的 Super Double, 於 2018 年 推 出 了「 快 卡 背 包 」, 以「 單 手 一 秒 取用」為主打,從育兒父母族群間爆紅,一路擴散到通勤 族、設計師、運動愛好者……等各種族群,在群眾募資達到 臺幣 1,500 萬佳績。 Super Double 團隊在材質、夾層、收納與重量做了很多試 驗與研究,不只滿足了父母,也同時滿足每一個背包使用者 需求,甚至超出人們原本對於背包的期待,讓快卡背包成為 滿足大多數使用者的成功商品。 Creative Director: Lawrence Lee, Shelly Kuo Brand & Graphic Design: Jian Xin Wang Product Design: Shelly Kuo, Coby Huang, Lyan Huang Photographer: Uliz Hung

Layer One launched three unique brands — the delta 3D printer Atom, and two open-source projects, Proton and Neutron. Each brand has their own accessories, manuals and improved generations. Layer One also offers customers plenty of services, such as online support, community and shop. Ever since Layer One was founded in 2013, it has grown to a professional team of designers, engineers, and community builders; each of them focuses on making great products for customers and delivering awesome experiences and ideas to the world. Grand Banyan Hotel 禧榕軒大飯店
The emerald in the city - Grand Banyan Hotel. The hotel is located in front of Tainan Station, Taiwan. The founder requires a stable foundation for the construction of the hotel and maintains a balance between the natural environment and national structural safety laws. The image of the brand comes from the old giant banyan tree near Tainan Station. The tree has been living for a very long time with its vigorous vitality and it is like a time traveller which has become an emerald in the city. goPatrol 文 件 加 密 軟體 goPatrol is a brand new software from Secward in Taiwan, which follows their file encryption software TotalFileGuard. goPatrol has plenty of advantages, such as encrypting documents, expanding the data flow monitoring system, and selecting optional plans ... etc. It also automatically detects abnormal or suspicious activities, records and tracks various activities of portable devices. The idea of the logotype design comes from the name of the software goPatrol. The second lowercase letter ‘o’ incorporates the concepts of aiming, scanning and monitoring. Whereas the capital letter ‘P’ has the image of a walking patrol. 順水蓮有限公司 Swatus is a new start-up trading company focusing on imported high-quality goods, food … etc. The logo and the name of the company consist of three elements which are the favorite elements of my client, ‘S’ stands for Smooth, ‘Wa’ for water and ‘Tus’ for lotus. Swatus hopes each import trade business will be able to succeed just like a lotus gracefully growing on water. Fong-ling Business Building located in Linkou District, New Taipei city, Taiwan, is a new high-end business building completed in 2021. ハレノヒ甜品禮盒 Harenohi ハレノヒ ( 晴れの日 ) , which means a beautiful sunny day, is a Japanese royal sweets brand. The logotype comes with Katakana which embraces the image of sunrise, and connects the four characters with some delicate lines. This delicate portfolio brochure about Cinis Design, was used during the TICFE exhibition (Taipei International Chain and Franchise Exhibition). The content of this brochure are mostly branding cases from Cinis Design. The cover of the brochure is based on the idea of integral design, designed with different greyscale geometry patterns. The business card of Cinis Design. It is made of 600 gsm of thick art paper which goes by the name of ‘black diamond card’ and uses white foil and debossing techniques. Qmita is a brand of baggage-related accessories. They designed and manufactured this new baggage safety lock. It secures the luggage by using steel cables. The packaging is designed with the colour palette of Qmita. Customers can recognise the characteristics of Qmita at a glance in any shop. The packaging also provides detailed illustrations and instructions, so that customers can easily start to use the product. 芳 香 世 家 芳 療 單 方精油系列包裝 Francine Chicard founded in 2000, is a brand from Macau focusing on aromatherapy. It imports high-quality essential oils from various countries. Using these oils, Francine Chicard then produces aromatic, essential oil products to enhance people’s life and mind. The pattern design from this collection of essential oils include the shapes of leaves, trees, flowers, fruits, seeds and palms in hand-painted style. The colour palette mainly uses muted colours, and a part of the packaging is decorated by the colour from each ingredient of the plants. Francine Chicard, which is a brand from Macau focusing on aromatherapy, published their flyers of aromatherapy oils and sprays. The design comes with a comfortable, mild, muted colour palette, and a Chinese serif font. goPatrol Brochure for CYBERSEC 2020
信 威 臺 灣 資 安 大 會介紹傳單 The complete instruction brochure, which is about the file encryption software goPatrol, was used during CYBERSEC 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan. The cover design takes a triangle as the main visual structure, which forms the golden triangle between the employer, the employees and the IT department. The triangle design also shows that goPatrol can protect files, defeat and detect suspicious activities. The layout of the content preserves the cohesion with the style of goPatrol — simple and clean. The colour of packaging design is grey-scale which is suitable for every kind of people or places, and keeps the consistency with the backpack. The package is very easy to remove. It also includes specific instructions and illustrations, so the customers can get started quickly after receiving the products. Atom 3D 紀 念 銘 版 The Atom nameplate is a special gift for the power users of Atom 3D printer and the top 100 backers during the crowd-funding campaign. The full name of the backer or user is engraved on each nameplate. The graphic on the package is formed with a geometric pattern, and it is printed by Risograph. Atom, the 3D printer brand, joined the exhibition “The Food Project” by Alice Wang with the art piece Chocomesh which represents the combination of 3D printing technology and the future food trend “Molecular Cuisine.” Chocomesh redefines the process of making food to give an innovative taste to the existing food that people recognized by 3D printing. The team also prints out different tableware to give audience different dining experience. Nowadays, food plays an important role in our lives. However, besides easing our hunger, what else can it do? The Food Project shows a new face of food to the world. The project reveals another side of food by using the viewpoint from design, it also ignites your senses and overthrows your recognition. 臺灣 3D 印表機品牌 Atom 以 Chocomesh 參加了由王艾莉 所 舉 辦 的 The Food Project 展 覽。Chocomesh 是 以 3D 列印技術與未來食物潮流「分子美食」結合所呈現出的實驗 性作品。透過 3D 列印技術,Chocomesh 重新定義了製作 食物的過程,將人們認知中的食物賦予創新的樣貌與味道。 除了分子美食之外,團隊還印出不同的餐具,為觀展者提供 嶄新的用餐體驗。 如今,食物在生活中發揮著重要作用;然而,除了緩解我們 的飢餓感,食物還能做些什麼呢?
