COLOURS AND CHAOS IN THE GREAT INDIAN BAZAAR.
Had Indian life been a colourful tapestry, then bazaas and the people who inhabit them would, to my mind be the wrap and weft of this fabulous fabric. This is an analogy that has played in my mind over the years while meandering through traditional bazaars, especially during festival of all faiths. As you may know, to weave any kind of textile, the weaver needs to start with the wrap threads. Wrap threads tend to be stronger and and coarser because they must be able to whitstand tight streching. They also provide a core of support for the finished piece, giving the textile body and form. The wrap is stretched onto a loombefore weaving begins, and it may be coiled into a spool for very long or large projects, and so on and so forth. Now think of the bazaar as the wrap thread, somewhat coarse, but decidedly strong and all pervasive. This forms thefoundation for the tapestry. And the people who set up stalls, display their wares, some even their crafts and skills, are the weft. And the festivals are embellishment..... the icing, as it were, on this wonderful cake. That was my day at Sarojini Nagar Market, the daybefore Diwali, with my friends felt like-one big celerbration of all that is good, colourful joyous and, of course, chaotic about Indian life. Having shot an entire book on the great Indian bazaar, the subject continuous to fascinate me even today. It is intresting howcertain aspects about my vision remains the same, others chenges so drastically while using the iphone, in comparison to the slide film approach that i used for the book.

The features set of the D5100 is a fusion and the same metering and AF system as the nikon D700. While its pixel count is similar to the nikon D3200,the nikon D3200features an all new 24.1MP CMOS sensor. This sensor combined with an EXPEED 3 processor, helps record high mega pixel files at 5 fps. Now the clincher-like the mid level D7000 and the full frame D600, the D5200 has a total of 39AF points, nine of them being cross type. Wow. That, itself, is a superb

Playing with Silhouettes Find a strong subject with a definite form to create stunning sihouettes against a bright colourful backdrop. Silhouettes can lend mystery to a photograph.Since there is virtually no light on the main subject itself, a ssilhouette is shape and form. HOW TO ACHIEVE IT. When the subject is situatedagainst a bright background, the camera automatically renders it asa silhouette. You can make thesilhouette darker by underexposing slightly.Silhouette often work well in monochrome.
A perfect silhouette has no total features and only adefinite form. Here, a clean background conveys the environment and also makes the silhouette strong and uncluttered,
