Low Impact & Aerobic Exercises That Are Good for You
Walking
Walking can be done inside the home or around the neighborhood and can be done at your own pace. Brisk walking is also a great aerobic exercise that can improve your cardiovascular health, lower stress and lower blood pressure.

Leg Raises
Leg raises can be done either sitting or standing, where you lift your leg, either straight, or bent at the knee. Leg raises can increase strength and, also, help improve balance.
Arm Raises
Arm raises can be done either standing or sitting in a chair, and can be done by raising the arm at the elbow or at the shoulder. Weights or resistance bands can be used to increase the workout.
Dancing
In class, and at home, dancing is an aerobic activity that can help increase energy levels, strengthen your heart, boost overall mood and improve your memory.
Toe Lifts
Toe lifts can be done by standing behind a chair and holding onto the back of the chair, while lifting up onto your toes and, then, lowering your foot back down flat onto the floor.
