LAST CALL: MARCH COVID-19 HARDSHIP PAYMENT REQUEST DEADLINE COVID-19 Provider Hardship Form submissions for March payments are due this Friday, May 1, 2020. Starting Monday, May 4, Vaya will begin accepting hardship requests for April dates of service from providers that meet established criteria and are exhibiting a financial hardship as evidenced by their April billed claims. JOINT N.C. DMHDDSAS AND NC MEDICAID COVID-19 UPDATE FOR PROVIDERS Thursday, April 30, 2020, 3 – 4 p.m. Providers will receive updates from DMHDDSAS and NC Medicaid representatives, followed by an open Q&A session. A representative from DHSR also will join the call to answer questions. QUESTION, PERSUADE, REFER (QPR) – SUICIDE PREVENTION WEB-BASED TRAINING Suicide is a leading cause of death in the United States. During the global pandemic, when fear, anxiety and depression are heightened for many people, thoughts of suicide may be more common. It’s important to know about available support strategies. Vaya’s Provider Education Team will offer four additional “Question, Persuade, Refer” (QPR) suicide prevention trainings in May. Each training is limited to 25 participants.
