JANUARY 25, 2022 | COMMUNICATION BULLETIN 2021-22 ISSUE 41 IN THIS ISSUE: Attention: AlphaMCS Transition Planning
Attention: AlphaMCS Transition Planning Vaya Health will transition from a hosted version of AlphaMCS to an in-house version at the end of February 2022. This change comes as Wellsky ends support for the AlphaMCS product. Vaya will utilize the in-house version until we move to a new claims processing application, Conduent HSP, expected later this year. The in-house AlphaMCS environment will be an exact duplicate of the current system. You will access the new environment using a different URL, to be announced at a later date. Portal user IDs and passwords in use at the time of the transition to the in-house AlphaMCS system will not change, and all data in the hosted version will remain available in the new system. If you currently key claim through the AlphaMCS portal, or if you submit 837 files through the Upload Queue in the AlphaMCS portal, you will still be able to do so. If you submit 837 files directly through a secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) connection, you will receive a separate email with information about credentials for the SFTP. If you currently submit claims to Vaya through a clearinghouse, we will work directly with the clearinghouse to transition to the new system. Please note that as part of this transition, we expect the system to be unavailable from 5 p.m. on Feb. 25 through Feb. 28, 2022. For more information, please join us for a special Q&A webinar for providers from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022.
Q&A WEBINAR: EDI CLAIMS SUBMISSION, FEB. 1, 2022, 1:30-2:30 P.M.
