All data in the hosted version will remain available in the new system. Portal user IDs and passwords in use at the time of the transition to the in-house AlphaMCS system will not change.
Q&A Webinar for Vaya Health Network Providers March 4, 2022, 11 a.m.–12 p.m. Join our biweekly Provider Q&A Webinars for the most up-to-date information on topics that affect Vaya network providers. The first 45 minutes will focus on information for all Vaya providers. We will address topics and questions specific to transitioning Cardinal Innovations providers during the last 15 minutes. We encourage all network providers to attend. Registration is not required. The link to each webinar is published both the week prior to and the week of the event in the Provider Communication Bulletin.

NC Innovations Level of Care, Updated COVID-19 Innovations Retainer Payment Forms Available Two Innovations Waiver forms are now available on Vaya’s Provider Central website. The Initial Level of Care Eligibility Determination: NC Innovations Waiver Form is an excerpt from the NC Innovations Waiver Technical Guide. The NC Innovations Waiver Service Providers COVID-19 Appendix K Retainer Payment Form allows Innovations Waiver service providers and Employers of Record (EORs) to request retainer payments as allowed under federal COVID-19 flexibilities. Deadlines for Cardinal Innovations Claims Submissions Former Cardinal Innovations Healthcare providers must submit claims for dates of service prior to Jan. 1, 2022, to Cardinal Innovations. Non-hospital providers must submit claims by March 31, 2022. Claims that are not submitted by this date will be denied due to exceeding the timely filing limit per Cardinal Innovations provider contracts. Hospital providers have until June 30, 2022, to submit claims to Cardinal Innovations. For assistance, please call Cardinal Innovations at 1-855-270-3327, Option 3.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES Child and Family Teams Part I March 22 and 23, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. This free training gives parents, caregivers, and professionals an overview of Child and Family Team meetings from the family’s perspective and teaches strategies and facilitation skills to support children, youth, and families. The two-day course provides 11 contact hours of training related to System of Care and Family Team process. Participants must attend both full days to receive credit. Camera and audio capabilities are required for this training. Preference will be given to members and providers within the Vaya region.
