New Quarterly Reporting on Competitive Integrated Employment NCDHHS has begun efforts to collect data about how North Carolina residents access Competitive Integrated Employment. Vaya is required to submit a quarterly report that includes data from our 31county region. To complete this report, Vaya requested information this week from network providers about members and recipients who have accessed services in an Adult Developmental Vocational Program (ADVP) setting, including State-funded ADVP services and the day component of the Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) Medicaid In-Lieu-of Service. If you received this email request, please remember to submit your completed spreadsheet to providerdata@vayahealth.com no later than 5 p.m. on April 22, 2022. Survey: National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Provider Program The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Provider Program introduces mental health professionals to the unique perspectives of people with mental health conditions and their families. This program helps providers better understand the daily challenges of living with a mental illness and recognize the importance of including individuals and families in all aspects of the treatment process. NAMI Provider is an in-service training taught by a team consisting of an adult with a mental health condition, a family member, and a mental health professional who is also a family member of someone with a mental health condition or has a mental health condition themselves. The program is offered as a 15-hour class or a four-hour seminar. NAMI North Carolina intends to offer NAMI Provider to employees of all providers and LME/MCOs.
