PROVIDER TOUCHPOINT – AUG. 12, 2022

NC Child and Family Improvement Initiative Formalize a Statewide Network for Child Treatment Providers North Carolina’s six LME/MCOs launched the NC Child and Family Improvement Initiative in May 2022 to create a statewide solution to pressing challenges facing the state’s service delivery system for youth in foster care. Building on the early successes of the initiative, the LME/MCOs are moving forward to formalize a statewide network of child treatment providers . This network will help ensure youth in foster care have access to the services they need and continuity of care without delay when moving from one area of North Carolina to another. From Aug. 1-30, 2022, all LME/MCOs will offer an open enrollment period for Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), Level IV, Level III, Level II group and family, and Facility-Based Crisis (FBC) providers. If you provide one of these services, you may apply to join Vaya’s provider network by completing both of the following steps: Enroll with NC Tracks: Your provider agency must be enrolled in NCTracks. Information must include NPI, taxonomy, sites, and affiliated clinicians to continue to contract with or to make changes to your contract with Vaya. Submit an application to Vaya: Submit a completed Provider Enrollment Form before Aug. 30, 2022. We encourage you to contract with each LME/MCO to maximize statewide resources for children and adolescents. For more information about becoming a Vaya network provider, please use the links
